Quantum is a multichannel audio/visual electroacoustic piece composed with a recurrent conceptual idea of redimensioning different events or objects in nature to alternative proportions. A good example would be to shrink a cloud (Bernhardt Smilde) or explosion or magnify a piece of cotton or cloth to appreciate them differently. Quantum is inspired on an idea of atomic sound. It was composed using different synthesis y processing techniques like VASP and granular to name a few. It uses ambisonics as a spacializing system allowing the playback in different speaker configuration. The video was done in collaboration with the visual artist Felipe Jacome [aka 3po].
